Welcome to the World of Wellness

You have what it takes to stay mentally healthy and I will help you find it. I draw from the deepest reservoir of compassion, care and empathy as I walk with you through rediscovery, renewal and healing.

Hi, I am

Naanzem Margaret Olokpo

It took me a while to get here, went through 3 different careers, studied for each, practiced but never found the fulfilment I sought. I struggled to find my purpose because I knew I had more to give.

And then I discovered that the one thing I did so effortlessly was a ‘gift’.  I am a good listener, and everywhere I go, I find people find it easy to talk to me and I do listen, not only to hear, but to understand the spoken and unspoken message in every conversation.  And so back to school I went and with a lot of studying, learning, and coaching, I could not only listen to people but as a professional I can now listen, understand the pain, the confusion, the worries. I can also share the burden because my life experiences have taught me the value of empathy. More importantly I have found purpose; I am now privileged to walk alongside the most courageous people each day, as we seek answers to life’s challenges.

Culinary Therapy

Culinary Therapy uses cooking as the means of communication and expression. It Offers you the opportunity to relax and engage in something creative, fun and inspiring, to feel freer, more vulnerable, honest and ready to connect.

You are not your pain. Yes, you are hurting; yes, you are afraid; but focusing on the pain is what makes you hurt more. It is what makes you more afraid.

Don't let that pain hold you back. It will still hurt but you can still make a difference with your life.

GRIEF ETIQUETTE

What not to say to someone who has just lost a loved one

I find the last paragraph quite instructive “GRIEF NEVER ENDS, BUT IT CHANGES ” which I perceive to mean that a bereaved person needs to arrive a point where sadness no longer significantly cripples them.
